The 2021 Clemson Calculus Challenge

The seventeenth annual Clemson Calculus Challenge (CCC ) was held on Friday, April 23, 2021. Due to COVID restrictions, the event was held virtually. The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences welcomed 247 students from 30 regional schools representing Georgia, Tennessee, Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The students competed in individual and school categories.

This was the first ever virtual CCC , and we were thrilled with the turnout. The schools that competed in the 2021 CCC  are listed in the following table.

Awards

The first and second place scorer on the morning exam were each given $500 scholarships to Clemson University. Those finishing in the top 10 percent individually were recognized with certificates. This year's school competition was decided by calculating the sum total of the top three finishers for each school.
